Stella is grateful to the many partners who make our work possible.

At Stella, we highly value the trust and goodwill of our community. As a small not-for-profit organisation, we work in partnership with a range of organisations and individuals, and benefit from the support of a wide network of funders, sponsors, and program partners. In assessing and selecting potential sponsors, Stella carefully considers a range of factors including the reputation of the proposed partner, the partner’s goals, the subject area of the relationship, the partner’s role, and the potential positive and negative consequences of the relationship.

When entering into partnerships, we choose to work with those who:

  • Have ethical business practices that align with our own ethics and operational practices, as well as and those of our community;
  • Enable Stella to maintain our reputation for independence, integrity, credibility, social responsibility and accountability; and
  • With whom we are proud to be associated.

Stella applies these principles when evaluating a variety of relationships, including giving or receiving financial or in-kind contributions, co-sponsoring events, programmatic activities; collaborating or partnering in research, publications and similar projects; and permitting the use of our name or endorsement in cause-related marketing or similar agreements.
