I dream of summer
I dream of summer
And it’s long days that warm me.
Where I will not need trivial things or mindless distraction
Only the light and comforting whispers of breeze
To hold and protect
Where the one deemed as wrong, once hidden in shadows
Will revive its heart cemented in memory
Where I can breathe again.
A song will crackle as it spins
Around my head and floats into the clouds
My hands do not shake, do not hesitate in summer
Only grasp the sweetness of time.
