Are you Stella’s next Program Manager?
Now in its tenth year, Stella is a leading voice for gender equality and cultural change in Australian literature. We deliver meaningful programs to support Australian women and non-binary writers, and promote greater access to, and participation in, the world of books and writing to combat gender bias in society.
We are seeking an energetic and well-organised Program Manager to oversee the planning and delivery of Stella’s full suite of programs. This includes our major annual literary award, the Stella Prize, our residencies and retreats program, the Stella Count initiative, and other research, advocacy, and education programs.
The role requires a keen understanding of the issues in the books and publishing industry, an ability to design strategic projects with demonstrable impact, and exemplary project delivery and communication skills.
The Program Manager is a key member of Stella’s small but passionate team, based out of our offices in the State Library Victoria. This is a part-time (0.8FTE) role that enjoys flexible working arrangements.
Stella is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer and strongly encourages applications from people who identify as First Nations, people of colour, trans and gender diverse, and/or Deaf, disabled/people with a disability.
Stella values safety and wellbeing in the work environment, including through the recruitment period. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org to discuss adjustments to the process, accessibility requirements, or any other questions about the role.
