Tune in for the 2021 Stella Prize Longlist Announcement
Mark your calendars! The 2021 Stella Prize longlist will be announced online on Thursday 4 March, 7pm (AEDT).
The announcement will be hosted by Executive Director of Stella, Jaclyn Booton*, and feature all twelve longlisted Stella authors as they take ‘centre-screen’ to share the inspiration behind their exceptional books.
Jaclyn will be joined in-conversation by author and Chair of the 2021 Judging Panel, Zoya Patel, as they discuss the ins-and-outs of the judging process and what made these books stand out amongst the 160+ entries submitted to this year’s Prize.
We’re welcoming Australian bookstores and libraries to celebrate the 2021 Stella Prize longlist with us. Ask your local bookseller or librarian whether they’ll be hosting any Stella events across March, or invite your book club over to watch together from the comfort of your home. Either way, we do hope you’ll join us to celebrate another incredible year of Australian women’s writing.
